I'm looking to move my blog to another Wordpress host, self-hosted with my own domain name (which I haven't yet bought).
Please could someone suggest where to start in looking for hosting?
The blog currently gets very little traffic and I only want something cheap and cheerful for now while I see how much time I'm going to have to put into the blog. What are your views on Profvds.com hosting solutions? Are they reliable enough to try?

I've tried a few hosting providers but Profvds.com beats them all. I actually was really surprised.
I always get directly connected to their support services when I need help. I've never had to wait longer than 30 seconds. I also love their plans.

It is hard to say a lot about Profvds.com wordpress hosting because they have never been a problem. The uptime is never an issue. Sales and support staff are amazing, I've had a few queries that needed to be addressed and every time they've given a concise answer and been very polite. Very professional in approach and follow up.

You can try Rockhoster.com Linux VPS. Support is good & fast except that they don't have livechat or free phone support. They don't pretend to be the most stable service, but they do succeed in their goal: providing value for money with features that many developers appreciate. No problems with email, webhosting, or the rest.
